Thanks for all your help with the purchase of the used Lark wing last Saturday. Such a nice bunch of glider geeks, I felt right at home. Just like our bunch, only thing missing was the Southren accent. I plan a return trip at some point and try to fly with you guys.
THANKS!!!

I'd like more information about getting started and begin by attending the ground school.

Thanks

Wow -What a rush! I got a real kick out of my first flights at YSA...feeling and hearing that wind instead of some screaming engine is what it's all about. My instructor (big John) was totally cool and made me feel at home up there. In fact, I was amazed at just how cool and personable all the staff were there, from the owner to the tow pilot to the ground crew, and even the other members/visitors...It seems that soaring attracts a certain type of person as I enjoyed talking with the guys and gals on the ground almost as much as watching them turn into tiny ants from 3000 feet up. I'm looking forward to my next visit (I have GOT to master those S-Turns)!

Thanks folks! Have a good one!

Rob

It would never be possible to describe my wonderful experience of my first flight experience. The members and staff were very helpful. Thanks to you all.

My flight experience with a veteran pilot Manfred was wonderful. My whole family enjoyed the trip.

I can't really wait for the spring to start my flights. Eagerly looking.

Hey YSA!

I had a great summer there, and am dying to get back. I've been flying with Cadets at Picton and Mountain View in Trenton, And also in St. Catherines. They fly quite a bit different. Also, the word thermal is not in their dictionary...

Im hoping to get some passengers coming up with me...but Gr. 11 is just killing me.

Cant wait to get back,

Zach Marton

I am a disabled adult. AS part of Fredom wings I had my first glider experience yesterday. ITruly I cannot adequately describe the flight, the sensations, and the remarkable hospitality of Mr Peterson and the staff at York John Murray
